The 6-Series coupés were announced at the Geneva Show in March 1976 and with the exception of additional spoilers and a modified rear bumper wraparound (the latter in 1982) that styling remained unchanged during a production run of 16 years. The first cars were carburetted 630CS and injected 633CSi models and from 1978 there was the 635CSi. The 630CS was replaced by the 628CSi. Final changes came in May 1987 and the last cars were built in 1989. This book is a collection of road tests, technical and specification data, comparison tests and information on buying a used car.
